ABOUT SARI

I began silversmithing in 2004, making bowls, spoons, boxes and other objects from silver, brass and copper.

Jewellery making followed a year later when my sister fell in love with a silver pendant that was beyond our reach. Thinking that if I could design and make a spoon I could design and make a silver pendant, I decided to give it a try.  The addition of beads, fabric and rubber soon followed, and here we are.

My excitement at finding beautiful and interesting materials is only surpassed by the activities involved in making the pieces.

I sell my jewellery at Primavera (Cambridge, England) and have sold at the Clark Art Institute (Williamstown Massachusetts), The Canadian Opera Company, The Halifax Art Gallery, The Oakville Art Gallery, Smith College (Northampton, Massachusetts), Hollace Cluny (Toronto), and various boutiques in Toronto.
